Patients – Process

Patient Pathway

When you call our Freephone number you will be connected to one of our telephone staff who will take some information from you in order to help decide how we can best be of service. In the first instance you will be asked to complete the questionnaire on the website.

  •  If we are busy you will be connected to either an answerphone where you can leave a message and we will get back to you within one working day or you will be connected to a receptionist who will take your details for one of our healthcare professionals to call you back.
  • Following on from your first contact with a healthcare professional you may be referred to another organisation such as NHS Direct or your GP.
  • We will explain why this may be the case at the time.

If we feel we can help you, a series of short questions will help determine the most appropriate way for you.

It may be you are referred to either a:

  •  Neurologist
  • Specialist Headache GP
  • Chiropractor/Osteopath

However it is your choice and you can request whichever treatment approach you prefer

We will always explain why we are suggesting a particular approach

  • In some instances you may be able to see a chiropractor or GPwSI without a GP referral, although you must gain authorisation from your insurance company.
